Rational. Level-headed. When a man makes a rational, level-headed decision, it's his feminine side doing the thinking.

If someone described a female as being feminine I would take that to mean that she likes to wear make up and make sure her hair is always styled, wears perfume, dresses nicely (skirts or dress pants as opposed to sweats and t-shirts), and just basically is someone who enjoys embracing her "girly" side. Of course if you are talking about a guy and someone mentions his "feminine" side, I would take it to mean he is sensitive and caring.

This is one of those contextual words that changes meaning depending on who you're talking to. It is used more often than not used insultingly to suggest that women should like expensive cosmetics and dedicate their lives to make themselves more appealing to men.
