  • This question has the potential to become very heated. But, I would say Arab. I'm wanting to learn Arabic, so I'm sure someone there would be able to help out.
  • I've lived in a black ghetto, and a Hispanic condo, so I would pick Arab next. That's the only one I haven't tried yet, and would be the most culturally educational.
  • My neighborhood has become somewhat hispanic of late, so I guess I fit into that category.
  • Won't it be a great day when white people think that living in a "minority neighborhood" is no different than living anywhere else -- I prefer diversity -- but if I had to live in a ghetto, I would far prefer an Arab one to a white one -- their food is way tastier. White people food is so boring... I'd take lamb kabob anyday.
  • Black or Hispanic. I am Catholic and I have a butt that black gentlemen seem to like, so I would fit in either way :o) OK, that is me just being silly. But I would be fine in any "American" neighborhood. I would not choose to live in an Arabic area because, culturally and (if we are talking about Muslim Arabics) religiously, I would feel threatend and oppressed as a female. If we are talking about non-Muslims Arabs, then I would be just as happy there too. ---- Aside from the nature of this question, my guess is that you haven't seen recent birth rate statistics. Muslims and Hispanics are the two fastest growing populations - not much of a "minority" there.
  • Do I have to pick? I don't really care. I just want the house that is the most convenient for me, regardless of what colour of skin my neighbours have.
  • I'm white and I grew up in the projects. It takes a while to gain respect, but it really doesn't matter if they're black or white or whatever. So I'll take what I get.
  • An Arabian neighbourhood. They seem like nice friendly people.
  • My neighborhood is about 50/50 white and hispanic. No big deal. A lot of Mexican restaurants and grocery stores around here. While I can't speak a lick of Spanish, and plan to keep it that way, I do speak the language of Mexican cousine. Man, they know how to eat!!!!
  • Doesn't matter to me. I can talk to just about anybody. I don't look down on people and I'm not scared of one group of people. I've lived in predominantly black neighborhoods in Nashville (I'm white) and had no problems.
  • I have lived in the first two, without problems. Hell, living in a black or hispanic neighborhood when you are white can be kinda fun. I noticed that those types of neighborhoods are more likely to have neighbors interacting with each other on a daily basis. It was fun to be the token white guy!
  • Black, I just get along with them fine.
