Sounds like one of the buckles on the belts broke, and a flange in your piston is loose... j/k :-P I dont know very much about cars boss, but that ain't good go get it looked at and be careful while doing it.
Sounds like a lot of metal shavings. Never a good thing. Get your oil changed, the engine flushed, and ask to have the old oil saved and given to you in a container. Then take that to your dealer and see if they can tell you what caused it. If you lost that much metal you might have a seriously compromised internal structure in your engine.
Sounds like there might be coolant in it also.
Silver?! That sounds bad. If it's metal shavings that give the silver color, then that's really bad. Does the oil feel unusually "gritty". If it is does you should get your car checked as soon as possible.

A Honda rep told me it was O.K. if needed to add either a natural oil or a full synthetic to an engine already containing a blend. True?
