  • Sure, it will help but the toothpaste will do a better job.
  • It will scratch off the softer plaque, but won't do a whole lot about bad breath unless you've done a bad job rinsing off your toothbrush since the last use and there's still plenty of toothpaste in the bristles... I had a roommate once in college that didn't get the chance to run to a bathroom from the cafeteria on the way to class most mornings, and did "dry brushings" on the way to class. Worked well for him- course, he also brushed the "normal" way at night.
  • you can take for example ash (=very clean) instead of toothpaste against plaque and the socalled "fresh breath" is just to give customer a good and clean feeling, which will disappear in about the same time as chewing gum looses its flavour...
  • Any kind of dental hygiene is better than none.
  • If for some reason you can't use toothpaste on a regular basis--and Ican't imagine what that would be--it would be even better to floss.
  • I think maybe toothpaste helps to freshen...? So i dont think it would eliminate bad breath...but if you floss that could work =D
  • It'll freshen my breath and eliminate my plaque because I brush with Listerine advanced mouthwash with tartar protection. ;)
