While Fran Tarkenton had 246 starts, Brett Favre now has not just plain-old-regular starts, but over 250 consecutive starts (and over 270 consecutive starts if you consider the playoffs). However, the strict answer to the question is still Fran Tarkenton, who played 18 seasons, while Brett Favre still has only 17 under his belt.
