This is a rather subjective question... it will depend on your personal situation. Keep these things in mind when determining your situation: 1. Is my internet usage infringing on my exercise time? 2. Is my internet usage infringing on time with my friends/family/spouse/loved ones? 3. Is my internet usage coming before going out and being in social situations? 4. Is my internet usage well spent/useful/beneficial? 5. Is my internet usage keeping me from completing my work/necessary tasks/job/education? These are some of the principles I use personally when limiting my internet time. I generally use the standard that I will only spend between an hour and an hour and a half a day (my schedule allows for it) and no more outside of using the internet for work/school/research related tasks. Take these into consideration and determine your own time, the key is not to let it infringe on other things. Contemplate a hobby or another activity you could do otherwise. Use your discretion and common sense.

I agree w/ Evangle---if your computer time is keeping you from daily responsibilities. It is too much. Make a conscience choice to limit our time by scheduling your daily activities and planning your day. Be productive--not reactive.
