Yes it is legal in Ontario Canada to use a banana clip on your .22 cal rifle. There is no restrictions on clip sizes for Firearms using Rimfire ammunition. You can buy 100 round drum magazines for your .22 cal rifle. You could even have it chain fed so long as it only fired in semi automatic.

Not sure, but I hope they aren't. If you buy one, make sure you get the little speed loading device that can be used in conjunction with them. It saves a lot of wear and tear on the fingers. Not sure if it wears out the spring faster though.

The banana clip is quite legal in Canada. Center fire Semi Auto rifle/shotgun magazines are limited to 5 rounds. Rimfire rifles have no restriction. So you can buy the 50 round mag if you wish, legally. Enjoy. Podmahoy
