I use the dictionary most because I'm awful at spelling but I use the thesaurus a quite a bit as well. Doesn't thesaurus sound like it should be some kind of dinosaur? ;-)

I use the thesaurus a lot, but often look up words I find there in the dictionary just to be sure, before I use them. I have a very large vocabulary in my head, but I can't always put my finger on the word I want.

I use the Dictionary more often. My spelling isn't so great.

I consult the thesaurus more frequently in an attempt to broaden and color my language. Spell-check has relegated the dictionary to finding the meaning of unfamiliar words and phrases.

Thesaurus. I have a pretty decent vocabulary and I'm a really good speller (my husband calls me his human spell-check lol) so I don't turn to the dictionary too much unless I'm really stumped on a word. I use the thesaurus a lot though so that I'm not using the same word over and over again when I'm trying to make a point or something :)

-
I rarely consort any of these books but I use the dictionary more. Just because I said I rarely use the books doesn't mean I don't have a good vocabulary, I learn quicker than normal
