Is it okay to pretend to have an allergy to avoid something?

I see no problem with it. I've done it with eggs. I can't stand eggs, so I tell people I have a reaction to them...which is kind of true. I vomit everytime I even smell them. =)

Maybe say you have a sensitivity to them. Then you aren't lying.

As long as you do in some way, otherwise it would be a lie. If you are a good person and you do lie, THAT will be exactly what happens with you after this.
