Help answer this question below.

Can't find an answer of my sons PSP. Bought a game from Wal-Mart for him, came home. He put it in and it said something about needing more memory then died. Now only the green power light will come on for a few sec's and then go off. No screen flash.

Well, assuming your son has not modified his PSP unit, then it looks you might have one or two problems.

One problem is power, that the unit needs to be charged.

This could be in addition, too or independent of the other problem.

A PSP requires a dual flash memory stick. The standard size runs about 20 dollars US. With enough games saved from other games, this stick fills up its memory. If the game needs additional memory to run then the stick needs to delete some old data. I believe this is accomplished by turning the unit on without a game disk and going to the memory options.

I highly recommend buying another stick simply because you never know how much hard-earned game progress needs to be deleted for the new game to run. Additionally, if your son has a modded stick, it may already be too late to save it.
