It's easy. Now, follow me: There is no God. Jesus didn't exist. The Bible is wrong. See? Not that hard. =)

Impossible!

I don't know nor am I interested in knowing.

I really don't think the Holy Spirit is too bothered by who is blaspheming him, after all he IS the holy spirit. Its just tiny insignificant men who get upset.

I don’t know if other Christians believe differently, but Joseph Smith Jr.—the first President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—taught: “What must a man do to commit the unpardonable sin? He must receive the Holy Ghost, have the heavens opened unto him, and know God, and then sin against him. After a man has sinned against the Holy Ghost, there is no repentance for him. He has got to say that the sun does not shine while he sees it; he has got to deny Jesus Christ when the heavens have been opened unto him, and to deny the plan of salvation with his eyes open to the truth of it; and from that time he begins to be an enemy” (Conference Report, 7 April 1844). Hope that helps!

Enjoy! It's one of my shortest! John DOCTRINE OF THE UNPARDONABLE SIN A. This is the one sin Jesus Christ could not and did not die for on the cross, Jn 3:18, 36. This sin is the rejection of Christ and His work on the cross. B. This sin is related to the convicting ministry of the Holy Spirit, Gen 6:3; Jn 16:7-11; Heb 10:29. C. Rejection of Christ is called "sin," Jn 16:9. D. Synonyms for the unpardonable sin. 1. The willful sin, Heb 10:26. 2. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, Mt 12:31. 3. Resistance of the Holy Spirit, Acts 7:51. 4. Insulting the Holy Spirit, Heb 10:29. E. Those who are under the unpardonable sin consider the Gospel foolishness, 1 Cor 1:18, 2:14. F. This sin is characterized by strong delusion, 2 Thes 2:11-12. G. This sin has its own reversionism, 2 Pet 2:19-22.

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Jesus was speaking here to the scribes who had ascribed the works of Christ (Who was anointed by, and operated in the power of, the Holy Spirit). The scribes were the teachers of the Law. They, of all people, should have know that Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit, and that the things that Christ did, He did by the power of the Spirit. Therefore when they "ascribed" the miracles to satan, they were committing this unforgivable sin. People who do not have the full knowledge of, or a correct understanding of the Bible and it's teachings cannot commit this "unforgivable sin", but those who do can.

Good Job, John. So, am I correct if I say, to deny Jesus, the Word, is blasphemcy? Lots tell me they believe in God but not JESUS or the Bible or the HOLY GHOST and I have to say "that is not possible!"
-
I want to know what it is so that I can commit it! I'm serious!

The simple answer. If Jesus said, "No one can come to the father eccept thru me" then what would be the opposite of that? Beleiving in Jesus is the gift of eternal life, then what would be the opposite of that? Getting my point? Denying Jesus is the same as blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

That's a great question! It's very simple and easy to understand...it is impossible to forgive unless you are asked. If a person does not feel like he needs forgiven...how can God forgive?? If I say there is no God and I live a selfish life...not only, am I not a God to myself, but I also don't feel I'm doing anything wrong! God cannot forgive someone who does'nt believe they have anything to be sorry for! This is why suicide is always top in this category, among other things. foundthisone@yahoo.com

the apostle paul mentions in the letter to the hebrews that if someone is practicing sin after having exact knowledge of the truth, that person will not be forgiven.
