My fiance recently submitted a custody agreement to his ex who said she would look it over. 4 days later, she's responded that she wants to amend his custody to only every other weekend and is now demanding 800.00 a month in support (we currently pay 600.00), although the state only mandates 250.00 based on income. She has once again threatened to remove all custody and visitation until he is willing to pay the 800.00. I've tried contacting several lawers, none of which seem to want to give me a straight answer on our course of action. These are the questions I need help with: 1. Can she legally deny him visitation without a court order? 2. Is this higher demand in child support proof that she's merely using the children as a bargaining tool? 3. Can she remove them from the state with out the father's agreement? 4. Are there lawers in the state of VA that will provide pro-bono or less costly legal aid (she's drained us of our last dime!) If anyone out there with legal knowledge or experience, can provide me any sort of advice, I'd greatly appreciate it as I am at my wits end.

Call the court or the state. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but I think someone there may be able to help you.
