This is a basic human right that everyone should respect. Unfortunately making it a law isn't going to change peoples opinions, there are always going to be bigotted, rascist, small minded individuals out there who think they are superior. More fool them.

Gender and race, absolutely. Sexual orientation, mostly. However, there are people who will claim that their sexual interest in children is inborn (and it may well be) and that sexual orientation should apply to them too... so I dislike the term "sexual orientation" because it is too vague, and too easily extends to child abusers.

Every citizen (and non citizen) should be treated as equal, but this will never happen. As long as there are humans, there will be discrimination and hate.

They should, but they don't. We can't accomplish this because we are human.
