Virtually all countries I've visited have something marvelous about them, and most have MANY such things. Just for a few - Scotland has wonderful pubs (so do England and Ireland, but people don't know Scotland does also). Scotland has Culloden Moor, one of the most evocative places I've ever stood. Ireland has all these Iron-Age forts and rings that aren't even publicized - they're just THERE, in somebody's field, with a narrow road for getting there and no guards or fences around them. China has the exhibits at X'ian that just blew us away! - the terra-cotta warriers, horses, chariots - nothing like it in the world. And I could go on AND ON AND ON.
