Last year I was diagnosed with asthma. I hate the feeling of suffocating....thats how I feel if I do not take my medicine. Thank goodness there are great meds out there to control asthma and its symptoms. :)

gall bladder stones, lived w/the pain for years c/i was scared that i had some kind of cancer. turned out it was gs. that was a blessing really

Bacteria Spinal Meningitis when I was 14 months old. Since then, lots of breathing and neurological and digestive stuff, but nothing immediately life threatening.

The worst illness I was diagnosed with was cancer when I was like 10, the doctor thought I had 2 tumors. The next time I saw him he changed his mind and I had nothing. It was probably the saddest I had ever seen my parents within 2 weeks of my life. But I am ok now!

Fibromyalgia...it's silent and no one knows much about it, but is painful every day just the same.

Degenerative disk disease. No matter what, your spine is not going to get "better". All you can hope for is to slow it down, thru exercise and proper lifting techniques. With me, it was too late. My spine crumbled onto itself. Two major surgeries later, I am, for all intents and purposes, dis-abled.

Benign intracranial hypertension, causing double vision, major headaches, spinal fluid to rise and if its not right soon i face having a tube put in my brain to my heart to drain the extra spinal fluid that builds up
