I really think it's men in general...but even more than that, it's people. I haven't met an uncomplicated man or woman in my life.

i have found that Aquarius men do tend to be a bit more stubborn. they are a water sign and water does not mix 2 well with anything. but those Aquarius men are hard working and if u can get pass the stubbornness you got an amazing thing there!

i dont think the zodiac had it planned this way. and men being complicated? your the one that believes zodiac signs! j/k its all in how you 2 react to each other. its not as complicated as being alone.

Two of my closest guy friends are Aquarius and they are awesome and not complicated at all. Maybe you are meeting the wrong Aquarius men. ;)

they are very aloof an independent, which can be difficult for someone to take specially when they seem into one day, then detached the next, my best guy friend is an aqua man no problems with him, but the guy I am "trying" to date is a difficult aquarius.

Aquarians tend to be aloof. Every sign reacts badly when pushed to the limit and aquarius reacts by detaching themselves and becoming vague to other people. Aquarius is not fickle and will be back, but its important to understand that aquarius will not adhere to rules. He has a liberal attitude and a strong need for his independance and own freedom.

I agree very much to that, friendships are very different to relationships as there's quite a lot more commitment on the relationship level hence you get to see the aquarius man more that way. But if you're just being friends, you might not see much of their character as they're generally very friendly people and emotions need not come to play anyway in simple friendships.

I am an aquarius male. The best way to sum up how I behave would be to say how certain things affect my mindset at the time. I have a multitude of interests that range from utter vagueness to mainstream thoughts and attitudes. I have a tendency to think about one subject and move to the next without any real reason, and depending on how I feel about that subject that might be the underlying attitude you may get. The detachment that others might experience is the default aquarius defense, brought on by (sometimes) an intense emotional feeling, and yet there are times when I want to be alone to ponder whatever might be on mind in an uninterrupted way. Eventually, I'll return back. Also, commitment is not something that aquarius takes lightly, we love our freedom too much, but if you can manage to make your way through all this you will have a loyal ally for life.
