  • That`s extremely bad. That means that somewhere in the engine metal parts are grinding, where oil is supposed to be preventing that grinding. Change the oil and make sure it`s the correct oil (maybe try a lighter oil but stay within OEM specs) and check next week to see if metal is in the pan again. Also, tell the person changing the oil that there`s metal in the pan so they do a more thorough drain. You don`t want metal in your oil - ever. A VERY small amount is normal, but that`s not even visible. If you see it, that`s bad.
