Absolutely. Here are some I use as a singer: (1) You can make space in your throat so it's more open. When you do this, it will feel like you're yawning, which is exactly what you want. (2) Use a "jaw prop." This means you open your mouth until you feel your jaw slip slightly out of place. This makes a beautiful, round sound for words with the "ah" sound in them. (3) Stand up as straight as possible. To practice, put your hands as far above your head as possible while standing up straight; this forces your rib cage to expand. (4) Don't smile while you sing! Relax your cheeks (though you can smile in the tone of your voice.) Good luck! I hope this helps.
