Remove the stud the with a q-tip try smoothing the bottom layer of the tongue with alcohol. Rinse you mouth after water, and leave it for a bit. That's the healing process.
Just like when you get a cut, the blood dries, creating a layer protecting it.

It is a common growth that happens when your tongue ring wasn't moved enough.
Every piercing needs to be rotated in the hole while in the healing process.
Please contact your piercing place first... they might be able to help you.
If not seek a doctor.

You're reading I got my tongue pierced about 5 days ago. the swelling has gone down and there is virtually no pain..however when my tongue did swell it sucked up the bottom ball into my tongue and a layer of skin grew over it so now its stuck..what do i do?
