There is no good reason. It used to be done for hygienic reasons- but as long as you teach the child to clean themselves its not a problem.

There is no good reason, and the baby goes through pain if it is don't.I would not recommend it myself.

There isn't a single 'good' reason, so the 'best' reason would be something like: "because it could possibly give you some sick kick from seeing it happen." Overall? Don't get your baby circumcised - it's a primitive and totally unnecessary procedure that will only harm the baby.

Because if you don't he will be made fun of for the rest of his life.

To fit into the mainstream. Not saying I agree or disagree necessarily (I only have two girls) but, that would be a big reason for a lot of people. Later down the road Little Billy will realize he is different and it could bother him a lot.

Torture, just plain torture. If you're into that then yeah go ahead.

1.It makes it look bigger for when he's older 2.It's easier to clean

i used to feel like it was important, both for the baby to look like his daddy in that area and for cleanliness, but now i'm not so sure. i won't peirce my daughter's ears for her because i don't feel it's my decision to make. we have one son that we did circumcise, but should God see fit to grant us another, we quite possibly won't circumcise him. the decision to or not at birth is ultimately my husband's, but my position is a little different now that i've put more thought and research into it.

there is no reason, male genital mutilation is child sex abuse

Most people circumcise solely because of cultural/religious reasons. It's really up to you.
