Wouldn't doubt it. I just don't like him because he has shown that he does not respect America enough to say the pledge.
-
No. I think Hillary would be more in jeopardy than he would be.
-
He certainly is an easy target, but you wouldn't be able to stop someone from attacking any candidate if they really cared enough. People would just have a simpler reason to attack Obama.

It's really sad that we have to even think about it. Unfortunately, from what I have read and heard, the sentiment for Obama is varying and extreme. He is either beloved or despised, and there are many many people who think he practices "unAmerican" things. These same people also use his middle name (Hussein) against him, and purport that his "Muslim background" makes him less qualified to lead the American people. So in short, yes, I think that these things could potentially make him a more visible target if he were elected. Sad, but true. This country has NOT come a long way since MLK's death.

You know, I really hate to say it, but I do. It's like this - there have been three or four major political leaders in America who have been, well, black and been able to gain control and respect of the masses. Let's think...just to give a couple REALLY obvious examples....we had Martin Luther King (assassinated) and Malcolm X (assassinated). Both were shot down because they were leaders and good ones at that. Now, let's look at Obama. He's personable, smart, educated, a family man, able to garner votes from demographics that don't normally vote (minority and under 30), and relatively inexperienced. If he was voted into office, there would FINALLY be a black man in the limelight that young people could look up to. People are launching smear campaigns to say oh, well, he grew up in a "white" neighborhood, he's only half black, he is pretending to be something that he's not. They say this because it's intimidating for the extreme conservatives and good ol' boys to imagine that a negro could do something good with the country. There, I said it. I have no doubt in my mind that Barack Obama would be an excellent president. No doubt that he would do as promised, provide much needed change in this country and possibly cause things to turn for the better. But because of race and a number of his political stances, I also firmly believe that if he makes it into office he will need extra protection because he's more of a target than any other candidate.

The mind of a racist is a mystery to me so I guess I cannot answer the question.....
-
Yeah. Probably. And, I shudder to think what kind of race riot/war might be started if he were assassinated. Great question, Rosie : )
-
I hope not. And I don't really know. My mind doesn't work that way...I can't imagine assassinating anyone whether I believed (in) them or not. But I fear you could possibly be very right.
-
no.americans are too busy doing that stuff in foreign countries.

If anything happens to Obama, I think it would be for TOTALLY different reasons that the others were assasinated. : It would be totally staged. Totally government related just so that they could carry out other plans of their own, and will result in Martial Law and extreme Police State. We would lose most or all of our freedoms that the constitution grants us. Something similar to what the Patriot Act did after 911. There would be a "Patriot Act 5", or something like that. They would be setting him up for presidency, just so they can assasinate him. : "Secret Service Stand Down At Obama Event Raises Suspicions" : http://www.infowars.net/.../220208Obama.htm :

if we look at how things have unfolded historically we can say yes. but i would like to think that those who have gotten away with such atrocities wouldn't be able to do so, so easily. i know, wishful thinking...
