Considering study abroad for a semester [fall 08 in college] i'm torn between italy mainly or perhaps spain, argentina, peru, or portugal. help?

I live In Argentina, and I know a lot of exchange students. They come here because Argentina is considered as the most "European country" in South America , and they feel comfortable with that. Just let me give you and advice: Buenos Aires is unsafe so I'd recommend you other Argentinian cities like Cordoba or Rosario ( the second and third biggest cities) If you need more just ask me :)
