They slept in and left 15 min too late. If I'm driving too slow, you shoulda left 15 mins earlier, you'd be in front of me!!!!

Some folks are just too stressed these days and worry/stress over every little thing. Everyone seems to be in harry rush for no particular reason. It's just not healthy for them or those around them.

The same reason why people argue on Answerbag and anywhere else: the thinking that: "I'm right, everyone else is wrong."

As a taxi driver myself, I have seen my fair share of crazies and loonies out on the road. For the most part, people are rather empty headed while they are driving, having things on their minds ranging from an itchy back, to a cell phone conversation, to even daydreaming about porn. it is when something or someone interrupts this state that people get irate, such as when someone cuts them off, to an unexpected red light, or just arriving at their destination. Of course it could always be that they are just raging that day, as I myself have done from time to time. It can be about nothing at all you see. Sometimes people are just mad in general.

I think it's because there are just so many angry stressed people than ever before. And those people get in their car and think they finally have something to control that can go their way and they are wrong.

I think because there are more people intoxicated on the roads with no respect for other drivers & anyone who tries to obey the rules of the road gets a lil upset because someone cuts them off or pulls out in front of them because they are so stoned on pills or something else usually that they don't look to see if anything is coming. And don't get me started on if they get pulled over & they are blown out of their minds on methodone that they won't receive a ticket because its prescribed to them at a clinic. I don't know about where you live but that is going on everyday here & it scares the hell out of me thinking my family has to be on the road with these people who are so fried on drugs that they can't keep their eyes open half the time but they won't get a ticket because its prescribed to them. And that upsets people who are sober & have to watch their driving & everyone elses driving & hope & pray they as well as their families make it home safe. But I do think respect plays a big part in it because most people think if they can hurry up & get by you its ok because you can't catch them.

I'm not convinced the driving has anything to do with it. There just seems to be a lot of angry people out there.

I am one of them.. especially these days.. thats why I haven't driven anywhere. the lack of nicotine is messing me up =o(

Everyone is in a big rush...everyone wants to be first..people don't care about anyone but themselves, people want to show off, people have anger in their lives and take out their frustrations behind a the wheel.

There's too many drivers out there who got their driving licence off of the top of a breakfast cereal packet, if they have a licence at all.
