  • few dozen things can shut these sets down, when you first plug it in the light should blink for 65-70 seconds to run the self-test. If the blinking never stops this is a sign of failure of the DM or Formater modules, both are on factory backorder with no known eta. If the set tries to start & shuts down after 30-45 seconds the new lamp may be defective. DO NOT buy the cheap knockoff lamps that are all over the internet, why do you think they are so cheap??? stay with the factory originals. More money yes but without grief & trouble
  • I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM ! MITSUBISHI SAID TO GET A TV REPAIR PERSON TO AT IT.
  • I answered your post yesterday and advised a lamp. If that doesn't seem to be the problem have your light engine checked into. As I also stated yesterday, give me more info and I will ask my hubby. We also have a Mitsubishi and have replaced the lamp and engine in it so maybe he could further assist you. But I do recommend you call a service repair man. Is your TV still under warranty?
  • these mits dlp sets the WD 52/62X25 models with the V26 mits chassis have become notorious for having major issues with many many different capacitors on the various internal boards. call mits and complain even though it's out of warranty. they know about the problems and may help you with repairs. yu can also complain online to the BBB of california of which Mits is a member and does respond to complaints.
