each sub would recieve 1600 watts rms. if it puts out 1600 watts rms and is a 1 channel amp then each sub would get 1600 watts rms.

If you turn on a garden hose and receive 1600 gallons of water an hour. Then add a splitter with a second garden hose, you will not receive 1,600 gallons of water from each hose. because that faucet only puts out 1,600 gallons an hour. You have to share the wattage between the two speakers, just like you share the water between the two hoses. If someone gets paid $1,600 bucks a month, just because they get married doesn't mean they both receive a $1,600 dollar check from the same employer. Their going to have to SHARE. If 1 speaker receives 1,600 watts from one amp, doesn't mean that adding another speaker will allow each speaker it to receive 1,600 watts each. They have to share since the amp only puts out 1,600 watts
