  • The 1920 Chicago White Sox were the first to do so, Faber 23, Cicotte 21, Williams 22 and Kerr with 21. They came in 2nd that year and it was the year after the Black Sox scandal. By the start of the 1921 season 8 Sox players were out of baseball for good. The only other team to have 4 was the 1971 Baltimore Orioles.
