  • Try listening to different music...Your brain can seemingly only deal with 1 melody at a time.
  • Well MOST likely (well to me) it's the most recent song you have heard. Like one day I will have a song stuck in my head and later turn my iPod onto that EXACT line I was singing. So try listening to a different song for maybe 2 times and it should do it.
  • find a friend of the opposited sex-tell you're going to give them something-hold both their hands in yours-and sing to them which looking them the the eyes. expect them to return the favor soon
  • I have an ingenious way of getting annoying songs out of my head - but - they have ot have lyrics otherwise it doesn't work. All you have to do is write down the words to the song somewhere. Because you cannot write as fast as the lyrics go in the song, the rythem is disrupted as you concentrate on the writing. By the time you have finished the first chorus, you will have forgotten what the song sounded like! You can tell I use this technique often because scrawled all over the covers of my school exercise books are things like "Gotta' make a move to a town that's right for me! Doo doo dee doo doo doo doo dee doo doo!"
  • That is one of my true annoyances. My friend will sing aweful things like "it's a small world". It works, but you are stuck with that in your head.
  • If possible, listen to a song that you like and typically find yourself singing. If you can't listen to it, try just thinking of it and singing it.
  • I trained my mind to become like a SiriusRadio. I can change the channel and I can bring up Mozart, Beethoven, Britney Spears, Shakira, Techno, any piano songs, a song I heard in the morning, I can remember at night, anything music. It took years to do this, basically you just force your memory to retain patterns and then you learn to force the "knob" to change the channel to the song -you- want. Warning: You will dent your brain and get headaches at first, but it's worth it. Also, another cure, though dangerous and I do not recommend it unless you're all about safety. Find a product or something that makes a distinctive noise and when you hear the song strongly in your head, have a friend or a relative make this noise and try to trick your brain into shutting the music off. This method does not always work.
