I disagree with Obama's policies but, the speech I was really impressed. This was a great message he gave in Iowa, although like I said there are some policies I vehemently disagree with.

I heard it...but no, not read.

I just read it (thanks for the link) and I liked it. But I do have a couple of caveats: 1) Many were surprised (and some were excited) when Howard Dean did well in 2004. How did that turn out? 2) I hope Obama realizes that there is a core group of Republicans/right-wing advocates who will NOT 'come together' with him under ANY circumstances. http://members.shaw.ca/jeanaltemeyer/drbob/TheAuthoritarians.pdf That was the core BIG political mistake Bill Clinton made during his administration (other than not keeping his 'Slick Willie' contained...;-P..). Contemporaries of Clinton said that if he had 50 people in a room and 49 were on his side, he'd spend 95% of his effort trying to win over the 1 dissenter. If Obama does win office, I hope he understands that 61% is good enough and that while he should listen to the concerns of the minority, at some point he has to say "enough" and move on.

Sorry about putting an "a" in speech damn typo's ha, ha. Anyway, I do have to say at a quick glance it sounds nice, but if you read between the lines it creeps me out a little. Kind of a scary morphing between Dr. Martin Luther King jr. and Adolf Hitler.
