  • you have a better peddle when its not running because its not being assisted by the booster. its probably one of two things did you bench bleed the master cyl. and bleed the brakes starting with the pass. rear, then driver, then pass front, then driver front. if yes then are the rear shoes adjusted right. if there is to much slack then the peddle will drop alot. start with checking the rear shoes first then worry about bleeding unless you didnt bench bleed the master.
  • You may need to adjust the rear brakes. If they are not correct you will get long pedal travel.
