  • I am not a lawyer but I would think anything actually bolted to the car stays with the car when it's repo'd. You should have put the factory rims back on it when you got behind....but hindsight is always 20/20 so it's a lot easier for me to say that now.
  • Affirmative. The car has to roll somehow.
  • Actually no it is not leagl. you are allowed to go and get your property if you can prove that you bought them outside the car. now if the other rims are missing they can sue you for the cost of replacement rims.if you can not prove that they were yours and not belonging to the car you have no case.
