Can I take a screen-shot on a mac? If so then how do I?

One of several ways: CMD+Shift+3 takes a screenshot of the entire screen. It appears as a jpg image on the desktop. CMD+Shift+4 gives you a crosshairs. Click n drag. Let go to take it. It similarly appears as a jpg on the desktop.
