It would take weeks to explain, and even then it wouldn't be completely explained. I have watched the political pundits try to explain it but they to gave up. So to answer your question unsatisfactorily...no I can't I have still no idea how it works..

I don't know what use it has besides tell us how iowas voting.. at least kind of voting.

Really it's very simple, theirs no need to get into how it works except to say this- The state has 99 districts, each district votes and sends delegates to a state convention to vote on "election winners". Really the biggest effect it has is to show early winning potential, getting a first or second place run in Iowa can make or break a campaign.

Well I can't exactly explain it either but history has shown whoever has won the Iowa and New Hampshire Caucuses has almost always ended up being their parties nominee comes convention and election time. Basically that means if Obama and Huckabee both win in NH and both win a decent percentage of all the other caucuses and primaries chances are they will be their resopective parties choices comes November.
