  • Right Click on your Desktop and see if you have an option called "Graphics Properties" If you do, click "Display Settings" when the box pops up Then click "Full Screen (No Border)"
  • Try pressing the menu button on your computer monitor. Try seeing it there's something that says or shows arrows <--- ---> either way. Click on it with the menu button and try adjusting it.
  • There really is not a simpler thing to fix on a computer. All you have to do is press the MENU button on your moniter, which should be on the bottom edge. This should then bring up a little menu (surprise!) with options along the lines of CONTRAST, GAMMA, BRIGHTNESS, STRETCH HORIZONTAL, STRETCH VERTICAL, MOVE HORIZONTAL and PINCUSHION (Skew). First select STRETCH HORIZONTAL. This will then allow you to to strech the screen across your display until those black borders disappear on the left and right of your screen. Rinse and repeat for STRETCH VERTICAL and your output should now fill your display. If you can't fix this kinda problem, i think you should just take your computer back and get a refund. Your obviously not cut out for living in this century.
