Have you ever canoed the Bowron Lakes, Provincial Park, BC Canada?

I have not canoed the area but I have lived and worked in the area, everyone I spoke to about the Bowron Lakes is ecstatic. Apparently they form an approximate square so you can make the trip with a few easy to take portages and end up at your original destination. Please let us know how you make out. We're interested. No i didn't, is it a big Lake? can i catch Fish there too?

I have visited there and had planned on doing part of it, but we had a dog with us and I was surprised that they were not allowed to even enter the park at the time, so we went elsewhere:-(
