What are some words that, no matter how many times you look them up, you still can never get the spelling quite right? Necessary is my nightmare word.

Bureau is another that I spell so badly that it takes me three or 4 tries just to get the spell check to know what I'm trying to spell.

Yes, lot's of spelling slays me; I think some can naturally spell and others (like me) just lack that gift. I'm way too old to blame it on spell check or texting an have looked up words repeatedly but it just doesn't stick.

You would think a librarian with their degree in English could spell. I was relieved some years ago at graduation to find out from the department head (a seasoned well thought of professor) that she couldn't spell either.
