Is she in heat? Have you just started to keep her inside? Has she lost a companion?

Ender is back.. And slightly confused.

Does your cat happen to sing for a band called "Dashboard Confessional"?

Because that would explain a lot.

I have just recently moved house about two months ago and I have a domestic cat that has had kittens about 8 weeks ago. Since we have moved she cries more. I feed her and give her lots of attention and even let her outside. But she just follows me around and when i sit she is straight up on my lap. She will cry all day and all night. I have tried everything. I know she is not in pain or anything i just dont know what my cat wants. can you help?
    Cheers
    Bec

There are a lot of reasons why your cat would cry. Has it been separated from a sibling or other animal friend? Has it been sick recently, is it sick now? Have you moved? Any changes in a living arrangement can cause stress on a cat. Is there a new baby in the house? Have you paid less attention to him/her?

This could also be a sign of a medical problem.

How long have you had the cat? The reason I ask is when I first purchased our cat, it would trouble me not knowing why it was "crying".

2 years later, I SWEAR I know what each cry means. It can mean:

    -Pet me.
    -Feed me.
    -Play with me.
    -Take me outside.

I'm no expert, but I'd say that if your cat is eating and drinking and you see no signs of illness, you have nothing to worry about.

Hope you discover what YOUR cat's "cries" mean.
