  • This is how The Troll gets her "moderation points". Leave them be.
  • There are a couple reasons. 1.Some people are just too lazy to put them. 2.Some are on the fast pace and just put the category as if it were the default section. 3.Others put the AB category so that others could flag it and receive free moderation points. Of course, there are many questions that are usually placed on the AB category that are not AB related. From many of the reasons that I've heard, it's to help others b¥ flagging their questions and get their moderation points. I find it rather simple. Easy moderation points when those questions are in the wrong category. I have to say that you're about the last part. Extra time is used to help recategorize the questions into proper categories.
  • I think it is just laziness or people using their 'rights' to do as they please just because they can. But some of this pick any category is getting out of hand. Fun doing 2-4 questions ever few days is one thing but people placing 10-30 questions in 'anything goes' categories just isn't right. The staff has enough to handle already without all that, too. People shouldn't' do it just to give a few chosen points fodder. It's not a game site. It's Answerbag with categories for those questions. And then people also place Adult questions in Answerbag and so they show up on the front page. That isn't right.
