I want to make some of my jaens 2 bellbottoms what would be the best way? do i need to use denim or could I use fabric?

    You could use either. It just depends on the look you want. I made a pair for a costume party and used a psychedelic colored fabric and "ripped" the inner seam of my jeans and measured out enough fabric to give the flare I wanted and sewed it in. Hopefully that helps, I'm really having a hard time trying to explain!

    THANK YOU FOR THE ANSWER!!!! how far up do you rip the seam? do you sew the fabric 2 the old seam? outside seam right?
