All Glasses wearers do you totally depend on your Glasses Contact lenses to see, or can you see with out them

I am near sighted, so without my glasses I can read and see close things fine. I am not far sighted though, so I can barely see things in the distance. I can make out things though.

I am near sighted so I can walk around the house some without running into things but I can't drive or see across the street.

I only need specs when reading the computer or internet.

I don't totally depend on them.. I need them from a far distance. I could see okay without them.

Oh man I cant even function without my contacts. My mom thinks I'm weird cause I dont take them out in the shower or swimming, but I would go crazy if I did! :)

I can see without them, I just have to give my eyes time to adjust so the world stops going from fuzzy to semi-clear. And I'll have to deal with a pretty bad headache later!

I try to function well without them. But there are instances where I can't live without them. One such instance is when I'm at work.
