When i turn the key in my car, it seems to go dead and clock/mpg etc dissapear! I have allready had a new starter motor and battery! Then other times it starts fine! any suggestions?

To me that sounds like a wiring issue. What about the wires and connectors involved in the battery or starter?How are they?

check the thick black wire from engine to car body.

yes wiring does sound like the problem wires from the battery may need replacing.
