  • About 8 hours

  • The distance of this flight leads me to believe anywhere from 6 to 8 hours in the air depending on the aircraft and exact route. The exact same flight can vary depending on the assigned cruise speed of the plane. If it's cruising at 445 knots you will get there in about 7 hours if there are no holding patterns or delays at the destination airport. If the assigned route takes you out over Canada instead of a more direct southeastern left bank over New England it could be longer. This could be caused by congested skies. Winds in favor of the aircraft can subtract minutes as well. I guestimate 7 hours. Your best chance of delay comes from the ever-busy-and-crowded-nightmare-of-hell usually abbreviated as JFK. I can even remember how many times I have been stuck in a holding pattern or had to wait in hours of taxiway traffic at JFK. Best of luck to you on this trip.
