  • Im not going to lie to you it hurts like hell, i have 6 tattoos and they all hurt, as for price everywhere varies, from how much colour they use to how many hours it will takje them to do it, maybe once you have a design in mind, you should visit a few tattooists and get some prices from them, but i can imagine that an arm sleeve will not be cheap, i would guess a few hundered at the least
  • i guess it would cost quite a bit. i don;t think you would get it done in one sitting because of the pain and the time it would take. firts they normally just do the outline and then do the shading another time. apparently shading hurts less than the outline
  • Question....... When you turn 60, where will your tattoo be and what will it look like? As skin sags, so do tattoos.
  • I don't exactly know how much, but it would be really expensive, I have a tiger on my shoulder I would say its about 4"x3" has detail because of the tigers stripes, and it cost me $100. Oh and make sure you Really want it, you are only 16 and when you have to get out into the real world, there are many jobs that wont hire if you have a exposed tattoo. also would you want to have to ware a long sleeve shirt on a hot day to work? If you were to ever get it removed it would be a long painful (or so I've heard) process.
  • I don't know how true it is, but I have heard that in some places it is illegal to give someone under 18 a tattoo even with parental consent. 16 is a bit young to get something such as a whole arm tattooed. That is basically permanent and you should be certain that it is what you really want. I imagine that it is quite expensive and I know, from experience, that it is also quite painful.
  • from your shoulder to your wrist! thats a really big tattoo.. it will take at least 15 hours and cost, rounding 800 and up. of course that all depends on the place and what they charge. remember color needs to be gone over a couple of times and goes deeper than regular black. thats a huge investment, i would think about it long and hard.
  • Make sure where ever you live that they will tattoo someone that age, and if you need a guardian's permission. If you don't have a design in mind I don't see how you can even say you want a tattoo. Just to have one? Because without the design you're just saying you want to do something permanent, not that there's something so beautiful or personal that you want it forever. Without the design there's no point in contemplating a tattoo. It will be somewhat painful, and will take a long time. Misshell was probably dead on with 15 hours or more, depending on what you want it could cost you from $500 to $1000. You said intricate, you said shoulder to wrist, so expect it to be very expensive. I wouldn't trust an artist that charged less than $700 or so for a full sleeve, unless you're getting a friendly discount.
  • Theres no way you should get a tattoo that young, theres a big chance anything you get in the mindset of being 16 your not going to like/despise as you reach even 18 or 20, you'll go through phases of thinking certain things are cool then you look back and think "jesus what a tool i was" trust me wait till your 18 and find something you want to commit to having everyday till you die.
  • I have one in the middle of my shoulder blades it’s about a 4"x4" it cost me $100 and about 45 min to an hour. And I don't know if you would be old enough I live in PA and you can get tattoos and piercings here under 18 with a parent with you... Not an older brother or sister it has to be a legal guardian but I got mine done in NC when visiting my sister and there its ageist the law to get a tattoo or piercing under the age of 18 no matter if a parent lets you or not. They will not tattoo you so I don't know for where u live. But I know it will be a good amount of money and u won’t get it done all in one session. sorry for so long..
  • Dont let what anyone says stop you from doing what you want. If you still want to get a full sleeve when your older then get one. But know these things... -its not gonna happen in just one sitting -its gonna take atleast 3, if you get the whole thing done at once. - its gonna cost probably around $3000 if not more depending on the detail and amount of color and how big the different images are. -its gonna hurt, and depending on your pain tresh hold it might hurt a lot. -its going to be on your body forever, so think LONG and HARD about what you want to get. But in the end if you find something you like and a good artist and have the money. I would say i hope you enjoy your tattoo. Theyre addicting believe me lol i have 2 and want a full sleeve and a half sleeve and even more done... lol but just make sure if you get it done you get something that has meaning to you. Also make sure you research your artists... you dont want something that looks like crap...
  • The fact that you intend to do something illegal prohibits me from being able to answer your question with anything that would b helpful to you in good conscience.
