  • Yes there are I will give a list of the ones I have heard about or researched having lived in this area for nearly half a century maybe it will be helpful to you.There is a reported skunk ape in Tate's Hell Swamp in North Florida .The Okeefenokee Swamp is legendary for all sorts of cryptids Pigman, Skunk Apes,lots of other paranormal events.Lake Eufaula and the Chattahoochie River have several skunk apes being reported around the Rood Creek area there is one reported encounter in the Columbus newspaper near that area is a known spot on Old Sandfort Road and on the wildlife refuge around the Grass creek area some have been reported by hunters and fishermen.In Early County there have always been reports of large black panthers ,a goatman and surprisingly one werewolf in the same area lots of creepy ghosts such as a headless man and a girl who gets in your vehicle.Across the river in Dothan Al.there is a report of hominid with red eyes that followed a vehicle on Taylor Road in the 70s.Kolomoki Mounds has reports of strange creatures.The swamps around Albany Ga.have had a few reports of hominids.also around Dothan Geneva County has had several cattle mutilations and a news broadcast recently on a supposed skunk ape.Clay County around Fort Gaines has several creatures reported skunk apes,a flying creature with red eyes that has a horrible screech about 4 foot tall that sits in trees and watches you .There is a ghost German Shepherd In Hartford Al and I have heard of a few reports on the Flint River around Bainbridge Ga and one report from Lake Talquin and the Appalachicola National Forest Naturally I cannot verify if these creatures are real or not the witnesses in the cases I have read about seem to be reliable these are just the ones I have read up on or talked to individuals There are several good Bigfoot websites in this area Gulf Coast and such as that who would have pretty good info you can google Georgia or Florida Bigfoots and find their sites good luck I hope this helps
