Does any one believe Atlantis ever really existed?

The absence of proof is NOT the same as the proof of absence. Untill someone can absolutely prove beyond a doubt that there never was such a place, then I will tentatively suspect that there may be some truth to it possibly having existed once.

There are some people that believe that the Basques, with their strange language that doesnt match any other on the planet, were descendants of the Atlantians. I believe it existed.

It sank under the North Atlantic Ocean at around 1600 B.C. due to some natural disasters .But that’s not all; Atlantis had a (supposing) hidden secret. Some say that it is a myth but others say it is the only TRUTH about Atlantis. It was believed that moments before the disappearance a common girl of an unknown was believed to have found a sacred stone (green in color) believed now to be closely described as called the Jade Stone. Only this one was very different from moderate and updated Jade stone. its was almost its color only it was believed to have a color on it out of this world, no human eye has ever seen. Somehow when she touched it for the second time “For the second day the sun may open the clouds, the clouds again” the clouds opened and the city was destroyed by an object of which was as smooth and shapely as the sunrise. Why they did it? Why not?

No. It's a symbolic city that made its way into Greek Mythology...and somehow, after thousands of years, people got the impression that it may have been a real historical place. If there ever was an ancient city with the characteristics ascribed to Atlantis, it would be one of the many small, secluded islands in Europe, not a giant landmass in the middle of the Atlantis Ocean...
