I wasn't aware that one could keep them... But I probably would be interested enough to look... =o)

I'm not sure about the surgeon letting you keep them. They usually get disposed after being extracted. Like my mothers gallbladder, just got thrown out.

I remember a kid in about 1st grade brought in jos dad's or grandad's stones for show and tell.

Yes, I have seen my husbands and my own. His were bigger, mine were like grains of sand.

Just passed my 3-4mm stone on Saturday. After 10 & 1/2 weeks! I took pictures of the little &%*$#. Here it is: (I hope the upload works.) It sure is ugly, but much prettier on the OUTSIDE!!!
