As a former teen mother I would like to tell all young girls who just found out they are pregnant or are a teen mom already that the hardest part of being a teen mom is dealing with other people. people can judge you all they want to a baby is not an excuse to fail . Your life is NOT over keep moving forward and keep ya head up !

Stay in school. It may be hard advise to follow but crucial.
-
Turn off caps lock. Don't let the child prevent you from going to college.
-
Don't forget that the baby needs you, but you also need to to remember that you are still a person, not just a baby caretaker. Find a way to give yourself a break once in a while. Babies are very demanding.
-
Keep your legs closed and remember that baby didn't ask for anything, but its here..and thats your responsability. learn to love it and it will love you back.
-
Build up the largest support system you can. Use friends, family, join a mother's group. But make sure you have the emotional support you are going to need.

good luck and do your best

Well it depends on your specific age. If you are still in school then I can't really advice but if you have left already then my advice is to still believe in your future. I have 2 children & I turned 19 last September. I have a 26 month old & a 5 & a half week old, both to my fiance. We are engaged, have our own mortgage, support ourselves financially, are very happy, raise our kids properly, my partner works full time while I'm a stay at home mum & we both still have career ambitions. We both finished our educations as I fell pregnant 3 months before the end of school so we carried on & completed our exams & achieved excellent grades, keeping the pregnancy a secret which only our families & school authorities knew about. You can make anything work if you put your mind to it. I wish you the best of luck - you CAN do it.

I think the most important thing is that you stay strong and don't worry about all the negative comments. :)
