I think she should keep going. She really created brilliant idea that people idolize!

I dont think she should! HP is one of the best series of books I have EVER had the fortune of reading. Book 7 ended it. Yes its sad, but all good things come to an end! I would MUCH prefer her to work on a new series of books. Maybe try a little adult writing as books 5 through 7 were definatly more adult orientated than child orientated. I would love to read an adult novel from her! We could say "Stephen King, Robert Ludlum ect ect watch your backs!" lol

I think she should re-write book 7 rather than write book 8. I was terribly disappointed by "Hallows". I loved the series up to book 6, but I did not like book 7 at all. And what was with that cheesy last paragraph where they all meet up at the station, where she tells us about what they all do as adults?? Ugh!!

I think she should rather start a new series. She obviously has the imagination to do so. And, on the other hand, I think the HP series is getting a bit tangled with all the history in the earlier books; I think it would be increasingly difficult to write new books without inconsistencies with the earlier books.

She may not want to write another one, having personally taken the story as far as she could. But the publisher and the large fan base of the series may entice her to submit a eighth book to the series. A where are they now sort of thing. Only time will tell.

As much as I love and adore the HP series. I would not want an Eighth book. I think the series is good as it is right now. I don't think she would give in to making an 8th book, but she said an encyclopedia could be in the works.
-
No, she shouldn't. Now, If she wanted to write a prequel, of sorts, and give us more insight to the Marauders and such, that would be okay by me!
-
My thoughts are "AAARGH! ENOUGH ALREADY!"
-
This is a wonderful series if she doesnt continue it i will have to hurt someone.... but she thinks that she is going to write an enclypedia of minor characters that'll be cool...
-
If there were a way that she could make never-ending Harry Potter books, i would be so happy. I was under the impression though that she will not be writing any more unfortunately
-
I personally love the HP series, but I dont think making the eight book would be a good idea. Voldemort is gone for good and i dont think it would be a good idea to magically bring him back. Also it would be hard to find new actors for the movies. But i think it would be interesting to read the life of Dumbledore up to the first book!
-
I would be quite happy.

To find out all about the Eighth Harry Potter Book, follow this link: http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oGkyM9IXtIrtYACKJXNyoA?p=the+eighth+Harry+Potter+Book&y=Search&fr=yfp-t-501-s&ei=UTF-8 The latest Harry Potter writing by JK Rowling consisted of a few hundred words on a post card for a charity auction, and the bidding went very high. Edit: I forgot to tell you my opinion - I can't get enough....more, more.

It could work, however it would certainly require a literotic sex scene or two to put the slash fictioneers in their place.
-
no way. it would have to show what happens as the harry/ginny and ron/hermione married couples, and how terrible was that???
-
Don't care.
