A lame excuse. People should be nice because they want to be, not because they are afraid to offend somebody.

It depends on which end of the PC stick you are on..if you're the shaker, then people are pansies..if you're the shakee, then being PC is proper, good and kind. :)

- Thank you for the compliment, mikeymike. I think there are degrees of PC..calling ethnic groups insulting names is not o.k. But forbidding employees to wish people a "Merry Christmas" is ridiculous! So I would think that it was a period of extremes..that people generally meant well by it, but lost a sense of humor, a sense of propriety and a sense of proportion in an effort to offend no one..by trying to offend no one, you will end up offending everyone! :(

The answer is obvious, people are pansies. The only confrontation they are equipped to partake in is one where someone else's opinion guides their thinking.
Political correctness forbids the learning of actual facts to back up their ridiculous hypothesis on social interaction.

Political correctness is a lazy thinkers paradise.
