Our portable polaroid DVD player says bad disc when trying to load a DVD. We have used a cleaning disc but that has not helped

Well I don't know if this will work for you but it did for me. I also kept getting the "bad disk" error for every disk I put in. I very carefully moved the laser console (which is located inside after you open the disk lid) over the right. I then closed the disk lid and allowed the player to reset itself. I then put a disk inside and it worked...Hopefully it works for you
