What do you consider an adequate tip for a pizza delivery? Do you give a percentage or base the tip on the number of items you had delivered?

I could not tell you. I have this phobia about people coming to my home to deliver food. I may be too lazy to cook but I am not too lazy to drive and pick it up.

I give at least $3.00.

I usually order a 12 to 15 dollar pizza and give them a $3 tip but around the holidays, I give them a twenty dollar bill and say keep the change.

If I ordered a large pizza with bread sticks I tip 20%, mostly because gas prices are rising and a lot of delivery drivers use their own car to deliver. If I do find the order to be a bit excessive i would tip 25%, but not much more.

My base is twenty percent, but normally I tip twenty-five or so, because I figure they only can go to so many destinations per hour.
